WiLD CHiLD
As many of you know, Wild Child is no more.  I felt that the fans would  be as unhappy as I was with the musical direction that I was taking with the band.  I've come to find out, after speaking to most of them since, I was right. Sure, it looked good on paper, but ultimately I need to do what's best for those fans as well as myself.  I know this business inside and out, and my ideas for different things come straight from experience and depending on my bandmates who usually had more years experience than me, not guessing.  I did not feel compfortable singing only heavy edged songs and no fun, energetic, crowd-pleasing songs.  In other words, I WASN'T HAPPY WITH MYSELF.  The original set list of Wild Child was taken directly from fans' requests throughout 3 1/2 years of Whiskey City shows, (plus a few more added for good measure).  Someone, (me), must have thought that my feelings for  music would change over time and that I would get used to performing  a different type of material and just conform.  EEEEEEEEEGHGH, WRONG!  There's no fooling yourself, I guess.  I did, however, realize I could sing stuff like Iron Maiden and Queensryche suprisingly well, just not all night, every night, every song.  (I leave that stuff to Tommy Brady and Michael Hegedus)!  The other members of Wild Child are some of the best musicians I've ever played with, and they deserve to get what they want out of their musical ventures.  I'm certain they will.

Looks That Kill
